Chopard’s Happy Hearts Wings earrings are a heartfelt tribute to freedom, joy, and the beauty of graceful movement; they stand as one of the most poetic, romantic, and visually captivating masterpieces within the Happy Hearts collection. Personally designed by Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director, the collection ingeniously transforms the brand’s signature heart motif into the light, fluttering wings of a butterfly—symbolizing metamorphosis, lightness, and the joy of self-expression.
Crafted from warm, radiant rose gold, the butterfly design comprises three heart-shaped elements: two larger hearts, inlaid with lustrous white mother-of-pearl that shimmers with natural iridescence, form the butterfly’s wings; a smaller central heart houses a brilliant-cut "floating diamond." Sealed within a tiny gold capsule, this diamond dances freely between two layers of virtually invisible, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The mother-of-pearl captures and refracts light, revealing a subtle interplay of pink, milky-white, and silver hues—reminiscent of moonlight upon still water—creating a natural, luminous glow that lends a unique character to every piece. With every subtle turn of the wearer’s head, the central floating diamond slides, spins, and twirls, catching the light from every angle to create a lively, sparkling radiance—a dynamic play of light that shifts beautifully with the wearer, the moment, and every graceful gesture.
The exquisite fusion of warm rose gold, iridescent mother-of-pearl, and the playful floating diamond creates a harmonious blend of color, texture, and movement. More than just a pair of earrings, they seem to breathe and move in rhythm with you—a miniature world of light and love that dances lightly alongside you with every step.
