This is a "love letter" penned in gold and light—the Chopard Happy Hearts ring stands as one of the most emotionally resonant and instantly recognizable creations in the brand's jewelry portfolio. Conceived by Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director, the Happy Hearts collection masterfully blends two of the Maison’s signature elements: the heart—a universal symbol of love, joy, and self-expression—and "Happy Diamonds," a revolutionary innovation introduced by Chopard in 1976 that liberated diamonds from traditional settings, allowing them to dance with fluid freedom.
Crafted from warm, radiant rose gold, the ring features a perfectly proportioned, smoothly polished heart-shaped base. At its center lies an inlay of white mother-of-pearl, prized for its lustrous texture and shifting natural iridescence. Capturing and refracting light, the mother-of-pearl reveals a delicate interplay of pink, milky white, and silver hues—reminiscent of moonlight upon still water—creating a unique, naturally luminous quality that renders every ring one-of-a-kind. Against this shimmering backdrop, a brilliant-cut "Happy Diamond" comes to life; sealed within a tiny gold capsule, it is nestled between two layers of virtually invisible, highly durable sapphire crystal. Unlike diamonds fixed in traditional settings, this stone is free to slide, spin, and twirl within the heart-shaped chamber. It catches the light from every angle as the wearer moves, creating a dynamic, ever-changing play of brilliance—a beauty that shifts and evolves with the wearer, the moment, and every graceful gesture.
The harmonious union of warm rose gold, iridescent mother-of-pearl, and the spirited "Happy Diamond" creates a sublime balance of color, texture, and movement. It is a vibrant jewelry masterpiece that breathes in rhythm with you.
